SIPs are almost always shipped by common carrier. The panels are usually loaded on a 48′ or 53′ flat bed trailer. They can be unloaded on site with lots of man power, a crane, or an all terrain fork lift. Customers who do not have site access for a tractor trailer truck often make arrangements to shuttle the material in using a flat bed truck or a boom truck. Sometimes arrangements can be made with local lumber yards for material shuttling.
