Our sister company, Vermont Frames, has specialized in the construction of quality, traditional timber frame homes and structures since 1976, making us the most continuously established timber frame company in Vermont. Within our frame shop, skilled craftsmen hand-cut the timbers which are most commonly Eastern White Pine, Douglas Fir, Eastern Hemlock, or other species. We proudly utilize true timber frame mortise and tenon joinery which provides lasting strength and beauty for generations. We also work closely with designers, structural engineers and architects such as Timberworks Design which offers pre-designed or custom plans drawn by experienced architect Davis Weigand who has specialized in post and beam structures for over 20 years.
We truly care about the success of every project and your complete satisfaction. Obtaining this has enabled us to construct over 1200 frames. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is managed by Jim Giroux who has been with the company for over 30 years. In addition, many of our experienced framers have over 20 years in the business and they are overseen by our shop foreman, Richard Self, who has crafted timber frames for over 22 years.
